How long do you photograph the wedding?
Most Sea Ranch Chapel weddings include two hours of coverage. This typically covers first look, ceremony, formals, details, and beach portraits.
Where are you based?
I have been living in The Sea Ranch full-time for twelve years.
How many photos will we receive?
You will receive 75+ professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a private online gallery. Often twice that amount.
When do we get our photos?
Sneak peeks are delivered within four hours. Your full gallery is delivered within 72 hours.
Do you provide RAW or unedited files?
No. I deliver a carefully curated selection of fully edited, high-resolution JPEG images. RAW files are not included
Can we choose which photos you edit?
I personally curate and select the strongest images to ensure a cohesive and consistent final gallery.
Is retouching included?
Basic color correction and light retouching are included.
Additional retouching is available at $150 per hour if requested.
Are you the exclusive photographer?
Yes. I am the exclusive photographer for your wedding unless we agree otherwise in writing.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel within seven days of the wedding date, payments are refunded minus a $100 cancellation fee.
What if something unexpected happens?
If I am unable to photograph your wedding due to illness or circumstances beyond my control, all payments are fully refunded.
Are specific shots guaranteed?
I make every effort to capture important moments, but specific shots cannot be guaranteed due to timing, lighting, weather, or cooperation.
Who handles venue permissions or permits?
You are responsible for obtaining any required venue permissions and covering any location fees.
Can we print anywhere?
Yes. You may order professional prints directly through your gallery. If you print elsewhere, quality may vary.
Who owns the photos?
I retain copyright. You receive a personal-use license to print, share, and display your images. Commercial use requires written permission.
How long are images stored?
Please download and back up your images promptly. Galleries are not permanently archived. Photos are archived to my two stored hard drives and the cloud.
What happens if it rains or is foggy?
Sea Ranch weather changes quickly. I’m experienced working in fog, wind, and coastal light. We adjust timing or locations as needed to create beautiful images in any conditions.
Do you help with posing?
Yes. I guide you naturally so you never feel awkward. I keep it relaxed and efficient while still capturing candid moments.
Have you photographed at the Sea Ranch Chapel before?
Yes. I know the light patterns, restrictions, best portrait spots, and nearby beach and hedgerow locations.
How do we reserve our date?
Your date is secured once the agreement is signed and the retainer is paid.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes -- one million dollars in liability insurance.
Do you travel outside Sea Ranch?
My service area is from Timber Cove to the south and Point Arena to the north and includes all locations in between.
